CABLE-GUIDED SERVICE ELEVATOR GWR24

Manufactured with lightweight and corrosion-resistant materials, the GWR24 service elevator operates with an electric traction system and employs a cable system for guidance. The cables are installed on the suspension beam at the top of the wind turbine and tensioned at the base of the tower.

Characteristics

Speed Safety Device: Automatic stop in case the elevator exceeds the nominal speed.

Overload Safety Device: Integrated to prevent operation when loads exceed the nominal capacity.

Manual Emergency Descent: Controlled method for manual descent in critical situations.

Obstacle Detection Device: Sensors at the top and bottom to detect obstructions.

Harness Attachment Points: Anchors allowing operators to secure themselves directly to the elevator structure, preventing falls or injuries.

“Push to Operate”: Users have full manual control of the elevator.

Access Door Locking: The elevator only moves when all doors are closed and locked.
